An Observing Project - The Shapley-Sawyer Globular Concentration Classes

#1

Post by kt4hx »

Since the latest edition of the TSS Bi-Monthly is focused on globular clusters, I have submitted an article at the below link for your pursuit and enjoyment. It is focused entirely on globular clusters, and brings to focus the Shapley-Sawyer Globular Concentration Classes that was developed nearly 100 years ago by Harlow Shapley and Helen Sawyer. This is just a little fun project to get you out under the night sky and pursue a class of DSO that is near and dear to my heart. I hope you enjoy the short article and the little project I put together for you. Good luck!
