"Stars and Planets" by Ridpath and Tirion

Picked up a pristine copy at Half Price Books awhile back and recently started to read it instead of just skimming. Love the book - I've started carrying it with me almost everywhere and read a constellation write-up or two whenever I can. I'd like to see it printed in a slightly larger format for my aging eyes, but I'm not gonna complain.

Hi Olen. Thanks for the heads up on this recent atlas. Ian Ridpath was the editor of the Norton's Star Atlas for many years and Wil Tirion is a master celestial cartographer and his work is used in many other publications. Apparently the Norton's Star Atlas is no longer published and I have the last edition (20th from 2004, epoch 2000) as well as an older edition (16th from 1973 epoch 1950). I have already found the Stars and Planets (2017) book on Amazon and will check the Half Price Books site next. Thanks again Olen, as you can never have enough handy astronomy books and sky atlases.

Just got my copy today and started reading it.
Brand new frim Amazon for $18.
Yes, I definitely need to wear my glasses as the print is small.

The moon map looks like it's the same as the one in "The Monthly Sky Guide". The "S&P" version might be a little tough to use scopeside due to size, but I like the crater list.
