Back into the weather funk and looking through my Astrobin to hopefully improve past results.
This is a dataset form 9/2021 shot with my now defunct AVX mount. Nice stars though!
A reprocess from the original Pixinsight WBPP masterlight using the new tools and experience.
I liked the last process (revision B), but it had too much magenta and it was too soft.
This version has more pop.
No star reduction besides tightening up from BlurXTerminator.
Reprocessed from the original Pixinsight masterlight. Used the new XTerminator tools. Only 4 hours and 40 minutes of integration using the L-ENhance filter and ASI 533 MC-P.
I hope that you like it! Please comment if you like it or don't like it and thanks for looking!
Jim

Thanks for your very kind comments Lyle!
I’ve learned that as long as you can capture decent quality data, you can process (re-process) it and add more data to it for years to come.

Excellent HOO reprocess, spot on color palette and really nice detail in the Cygnus wall.
Another wall hanger for sure!
Hope you get some clear skies soon Jim.
Cheers

You are too kind, my friend, and I do appreciate it!
Maybe I can get some clear skies by the new moon. I’ve got the big 102 ED mounted!

wow , love the tone of the colors and the background , thx .
apod for me .
I'll second that, defo an APOD for me too.
A fantastic repro, Jim. The tone is superb, the details really pop and an overall well-balanced gaseous beauty. Very nicely done Jim

It’s always fun doing a repro. Sometimes there is very subtle gains and sometimes more, but it’s a win-win even if the only gain is processing experience.
I really appreciate your nice comments my buddy!
