Re-processed Image: Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula

#1

Post by jazzin »

Been messing around with some of the new processing tools (at least new to me) in PixInsight. Here is a redo of my image of LDN 1613 from last year. Used a couple different techniques I picked up from various youtube videos and really like the results I'm getting.

Much better than my first attempt at processing this.

Hi Scott. A very pretty Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula image re-process. Excellent contrast and lots of color and delicate details in this new version. Thanks for sharing this redo with us Scott and keep up your processing skills.

Never knew there was a Christmas tree up there in Space. Not sure if I see the Tree, but I think I see a Cone.
