SpaceX Falcon 9 launch Monday at sunset

#1

Post by Makuser »

Hi all. A nice sunny but partly cloudy sunset here and I got 4 shots of the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch at 6:13 pm EST from my backyard. See photos below:

Here are the details:
On Monday, February 3rd at 6:13 mm EST, SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station - SLC40. It was carrying a batch of Starlink satellites for their second generation high-speed low earth orbit Internet satellite constellation.
I hope that you enjoy the photos.

The photos are superb Marshall!

It must be awesome to see these amazing sights from your home!

I was fortunate enough to see the space shuttle re-entering the atmosphere and blazing across the sky to land near you two times in my life and they rate at the top of the most amazing sights that I have ever seen!
One time just after dusk, it burned a long path across the sky (horizon to horizon) and when it disappeared, I walked inside and watched it land on tv. Wow!

Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos!
