Comet C/2022 EF ZTF - Feb 11, 2023
I took this image last night from my light polluted driveway. Not sure why it is blue instead of green, but there it is...

Hi Greg,
Nice image. My mate @scribbly had the same blue shift issue using a Canon Rp from my place, a non-light polluted location. He hasn't found the cause either.
I was shooting a few metres away from him, same window of time. I'm using a Pentax K1 which has the same Sony EXMOOR 36MPx sensor used in the Sony A7ii.
I pre-process in Lightroom, export 16 bit files, then stack and post process all in Photoshop.
Scribbly pre-processes in Lightroom, exports 16 bit files then stack inDSS and post process in Photoshop.

Re: Comet C/2022 EF ZTF - Feb 11, 2023
Thanks for the info. I stacked the RAW files right out of the camera with Sequator. Nothing I could do would bring out the green. I saw you got green, but it was blueish :-) Your images of the comet are awesome as your integration time is way higher than mine. My image was only 90 seconds.OzEclipse wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 11:19 pm Hi Greg,

Hello Greg. A very nice Comet C/2022 EF image from you using your Sony ILCE-7 camera. Excellent contrast and the head and tail are just dazzling in this capture Greg so thanks for sharing this view with us on here.
