Fitting and EQ5 Synscan GoTO on a Vixen GPDX

#1

Post by johnyjf »

I bought the Synscan Upgrade for my GPDX after checking that it would fit. I am not having much luck around fitting the RA motor and Power distribution unit around the RA axis. If anyone out there has successfully done this upgrade I would be very pleased to have some pictures of this area and of any modifications made to the plastic cover. Thanks in anticipation.

I missed this posting unfortunately.
This is a fairly common upgrade and you can find threads on the installation at SGL, CN and astronomie.de
