asiair naming cameras

#1

Post by 1jimalexander »

I have 2 identical cameras asi129mm. One for OAG and one for a guide scope.
When selecting which one I want for a device both cameras have the identical name so it's trial and error to get the right one.
Is there a way of modifying camera names so that they appear different in the camera selection drop down?

I don't think theres a way, if you have a ASIAir you could just unplug one and see which disappears?
    Cheers,

Thanks Tony. I've been disconnecting one. I was hoping to get around that but, might be stuck with it.

I also did research on this yesterday, and I found nothing useful. All I can say is that if you figure it out, please share how you did it.
