Eyepieces: TV Naglers 31, 17, 12, 7; Denkmeier D21 & D14; Pentax XW10, XW5, Unitron 40mm Kellner, Meade Or 25,12

Hi Gary,

Wow, this article is pretty bad, sensationalistic with false or exaggerated info.

It's a periodic orbiting comet and not crashing into the Sun but just in orbit. The orbital inclination is high - 60 deg. High inclination orbits travel into perihelion and away from perihelion along the twilight line hence are only visible via the coronagraphic orbiting solar observatories.

That could be correct. I haven't read anything anywhere else about its composition so I am not sure. But I recall its first discovery in 1980's and multiple returns so it's definitely in orbit around our sun now.

My understanding is that the escape velocity for a comet or body to escape a solar system is quite high. If you remember back a year or two ago, Oumuamua, travelled straight through our solar system and they knew it was interstellar because of its velocity. No mention of high velocity here.
