The Running Man in RGB and Ha

#1

Post by petershah »

I imaged this one of the Running Man Nebula remotely a few nights ago in Spain with the 17in Planewave and FLI16803 CCD,.....Unfortunately someone in a neighbouring observatory left on an IR light from a camera!!!..But despite the artefacts from the IR I still thought it was worth processing. Image exposure was 2Hrs each in Ha RGB all 600s sub exposures.
Thanks for taking a look

That's really quite an amazing image. The larger image holds up really well on closer viewing and your 17" Planewave has liberated a lot of superb detail. We don't see enough of this guy on his own and this image shows why we should. A beauty for sure! Thanks for the share.

Hello Peter,

that's an amazing capture of the Running Man Nebula, and of the dense molecular clouds.

It reminds me of a running man, and below are the fighting roosters, I can see them right in their action.

That's a beauty Peter with nice detail and an excellent color palette! I don't see that one imaged by itself often.
