NGC 4372 (Caldwell 108) is a Shapley-Sawyer class XII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2 ... tion_Class) globular cluster located approximately 18,900 light-years away in Musca.

HMSTG436 (Sandqvist 149, the Dark Doodad nebula and others) is the large dark nebula that extends well beyond this field of view. More information on HMSTG catalog of “southern dark clouds” can be found here - https://articles.adsabs.harvard.edu/pdf ... ..63...27H.

Luminance – 5x300s – 25 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 5x300s – 25 minutes each – binned 1x1

100 minutes total exposure – 1 hour 40 minutes

Imaged May 7th, 2021 at the Heaven’s Mirror Observatory (Australia) with a FLI ML16200 on an Officina Stellare RH200 .
