NGC 1313 - A Wider View

NGC 1313 (PGC 12286, ESO 82-11, VV 436 and others) is an odd barred spiral galaxy located approximately 14 million light-years away in Reticulum. This field of view is 5.4 x 5.4 degrees.

Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 13:12:12x600s – 130:120:120 minutes each – binned 1x1

490 minutes total exposure – 8 hours 10 minutes

Imaged over eight nights in August, September and October, 2022 at the Heaven’s Mirror Observatory (Australia) with a FLI PL16083 on a Takahashi FSQ-106ED at f/3.6 382 mm.
