Three-Panel Lunar Mosaic, 12 May 2019

Post by bladekeeper »

This is the joining of three separate captures I made last night.

ASI174MC, 2× barlow, SV102T on my AVX. Each capture was a 1000 frame SER file, best 10% of frames stacked via AS!2, RS6 for wavelets, and then run through MS Image Composite Editor to make the mosaic. A bit of a crop with PS afterward and to convert from TIF to PNG to get Flickr to take the bloated thing.

Thanks, friends!

I was hoping to do another this evening with Copernicus exposed, but the clouds had other ideas. I've got a good one from back in March (April was a bust) that I'm going to make a print from to frame and hang in my office at work. :D

Great detail, and smoothly put together. Time to dig out my atlas and see what fine stuff you have captured. Very nice, Bryan.
