Mod for Tri-pod 2" legs

OK, here's something easy to remember...
Pipe is measured from the INSIDE...
Tubing is measured from the OUTSIDE...
.
The Legs are 2" tubing... ( This is O.D )

PVC plastic pipe is 2" ...( This is I.D. )
.
I've used this style of clamping several ways...
Most of them were PVC on PVC

Finding the right amount to cut out is easy to do...
If you don't open it enough...trim it some more.
If you trim it too much...Throw it away , these are cheap.
You can also vary the strength by how wide you cut your pipe ( see three examples, smallest was used )
.
Once you get a size you like...Save the piece cut out...
Cut your next piece... THEN mark it once for a close tolerance...
.
I notice these SLIDE freely after I slip one on the tube...
But with a wire or two under them , they stay in place...
.
For This application...
.
I'm going to want all wires going down one leg , These clips will hold several wires.
or just add more clips .
.
HEY... Is that Red Anodized Aluminum to match your Camera ?
Or a piece of plastic colored with a red Sharpie...(paint will chip from flexing)
.
Hope you like it...
.
Gotta Fly...

I like them better Black... But I couldn't waste the opportunity to add some "Bling"
Since the red was already on the set of three that I'm using , I thought I'd put
some stick-on letters , Hmmm , nothing that size without going over to the shop.
So, I taped it off and with a little x-acto action...no blood was drawn.
JAM is what I use... Cause there are too many Mike's
Jam is "Just Another Mike"
.
My Dad had an Excavating Co call "Another Excavator"
So this sorta ties in with that.
.
Gotta Fly...
.
What I'm trying to do is give you an example of how YOU might do them...Stock White if yer scope is white ?

One last example.
.
This shows how many cables these hold...
.
But , one set of this down the tri-pod leg , can be shared by another set...staggered clamps,
.
I've never seen any of the telescopes use more cables than this example. ( But I'm sure SOMEBODY does )
