India's Mars Orbiter Declared dead
Likely due to either battery failure or fuel exhaustion. Not a bad run considering it was initially designed for a life-span of six months. The orbiter lasted 8 years and collected a wealth of data. India was the 4th nation to send a spacecraft to Mars.

Too bad at least it lasted 16x its projected operational lifespan.

Re: India's Mars Orbiter Declared dead
Well, Mangalyaan ran for 8 years and provided a lot of useful data during it's mission. Thanks for finding and sharing this informative link with us Chich.
