Hi all. Here is the latest report from Starry Night Software and Chris Vaughan, at Space.com. It provides information on several interesting observing opportunities throughout the month of September. Here are just a few: Thursday, September 1 - Milky Way Star Clusters (evening), Sunday, September 4 - Mare Imbrium Mountains (evening), Monday, September 5 - Venus Veers past Regulus (before sunrise), Wednesday, September 7 - Juno Shines Brightest at Opposition (all night), Wednesday, September 14 - The Moon near Uranus (late night), Friday, September 16 - Neptune at Opposition (all night), Friday, September 16 - Moon Meets Mars (overnight), Friday, September 23 - Morning Zodiacal Light for Mid-Northern Observers (pre-dawn), Monday, September 26 - Jupiter at Opposition (all night), and much more. It also includes lots of other interesting pictures, maps, charts, and information including excellent planet positions and data for this month:
