Re: Whatcom Assoc. of Celestial Observers - July Star Parties
There will be an event this evening at the Barn, an actual red barn that serves as the community center in these parts. WACO plans to give views through member scopes to upwards of 80 people who are gathering to hear an astronomy lecture by the staff of the local university here, Western Washington University. Not sure how many folks will stick around after the lecture but the weather calls for clear skies!!! this eve. I will be at the event til 8 or 9 pm or perhaps later. so I may be filing a report tomorrow morning on the outreach.
