Space bubbles to shield us from the sun
MIT has a proposal to install a large bubble shield betwixt us and the sun to halt/slow climate change. Interesting idea but wonder if it is feasible and will messing with a sytem we don't fully undersatnd help or worsen the situation
...and of course, one has to wonder what affect such a thing would have on solar observing.

It'd be a huge obstacle to solar observing from Earth's surface. Fortunately it is hugely impractical.
