Thankyou. I personally dont like too much colour but i do understand its a personal taste.bobharmony wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 1:45 pm Your friend captured some nice detail and your processing brings it out very well! On a personal preference note, I am a fan of boosting the color just a bit

I was going to mention the stars too. If you haven’t already, check out Ron’s link to Bill’s star reduction routines. They are excellent!AstroBee wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 9:06 pm Very nice image. I like your processing. If you give it another go as mentioned I would do some star reduction on it too. It's just the nature of where the Veil resides, deep in the milky way, that the stars really over-power most images in this region. Since you are using PixInsight, I would recommend a quick run of Bill's PixelMath routines. It's super simple.

I like the video but my laptop is too old for StarNet++ to run (was made before 2013 which, from what ive read thats too old)
I tried installing StarNet++ a few months ago and it didnt show up anywhere in
From the video i see that you need a starless image.
Ive tried many ways to create a starless image as i can see how helpful it could be yet ive never managed to create one
