Hi folks! This is really cool. No wonder all the professional astronomers' brains are exploding. A comparison of images of the same objects with the two telescopes. You can grab the little arrow thingy in the middle of each image and move it right to left to see more of the difference. Amazing!

I'm going to print out a couple of these with the division in the middle to help explain to folks at public outreach why bigger scopes don't necessarily mean more magnification, but do mean capturing fainter objects and more detail. Perhaps not the perfect analogy, but close enough.

Hi Greg. Wow, this is really a nifty comparison using the arrow slider to view the two space telescope's images. Thanks for finding and sharing this great link with us on here Greg and we should expect even more fantastic results from the JWST. :Clap:
