Today's 8/10/22 Sun
Hey everyone, hope all is good with you and yours
I was up at 3AM, on the road at 4 and pulling in for gas at 5:30. Such are my days...
I took this at the gas station. Venus is to the right of that incredibly bright parking lot light; I was amazed it showed up.
It was supposed to be a clear day, but I was wondering from 6-6:30AM. Still, it was nice to watch all that happen.
Finished up at noon with Tippy, one of the many furballs I see in a day. He comes running out when I pull up and sits on my back the whole time I'm there. Job perks
It did clear up somewhat when I got in at a bit after 2PM. Bright blue skies and slow moving clouds, but at about 4PM it was clear blue skies.
I took 100 shots of the Sun with my C80-HD, Canon EOS 550D at ISO 800 and 1/1250th sec exp, and Baader SC, UV/IR and 5.0 OD film. Aligned in PIPP, best 25% stacked in AS3, and no post processing.
Annotations, the spot at the seven o'clock position has yet to be designated, I bet it will be AR3078...

Fun stuff. After 17 hours, I bid you all a good night, and thanks for reading
