Stellarvue M002C Mount or ?

#1

Post by messier 111 »

Good morning all ,
I was wondering if the Stellarvue M002C Mount is viable to put on a berno mack 3 tripod.
I want to use it with my Tele Vue 85 .
Is there anything better ?
thanks.
I LOVE REFRACTORS ,

The Stellarvue M2C mount would be ideal with your 85mm.
I have used larger refractors than a 85mm with mine and have had no issues with its use over the time I have owned it.

AOKswiss is 'better' but also much more expensive.
http://aokswiss.ch/ayo/main_ayo.html
Refractors: Antares 105mm f/15 (modified), Celestron 150mm f/8 (modified), Homemade 70mm f/10 (LZOS K8/F13 doublet), Stellarvue NHNG Deluxe 80mm f/6.9, TAL 100RS f/10, Vixen SD115s f/7.7
EQ Mounts: Celestron CG-5, Celestron ASGT (modified), TAL MT-1, Vixen SXP/ Berlebach Planet
Az/ Alt Mounts: Celestron SLT (modified), Manfrotto 055B/ RC28, Manfrotto 028B/ Stellarvue M2C/ Argo Navis
Diagonal: 2” Astro-Physics MaxBright, 2” Stellarvue Deluxe, 2” TAL dielectric, 2” TeleVue Everbrite, 1.25" Vixen flip mirror, 2” Baader Amici prism, 2” Long Perng Amici prism, 2” Baader Herschel wedge
Eyepieces: Antares to Zeiss, now only slightly more than 1 person requires!

Which tripod exactly do you have?
I went look at the specs on their page and they are all called Mach 3: https://benrousa.com/mach3/
