Stellarvue M002C Mount or ?

#1

Post by messier 111 »

Good morning all ,
I was wondering if the Stellarvue M002C Mount is viable to put on a berno mack 3 tripod.
I want to use it with my Tele Vue 85 .
Is there anything better ?
thanks.
I LOVE REFRACTORS , :sprefac:

REFRACTOR , TELE VUE 85MM f7 , TS-Optics Doublet SD-APO 125 mm f/7.8 . lunt 60 mt on the way .

EYEPIECES, Delos , Delite and 26mm Nagler t5 , zoom Svbony 7-21

FILTER , Nebustar 2 tele vue . Apm solar wedge . contrast booster 2 inches .

Mounts , berno mack 3 with telepod , cg-4 motorized , eq6 pro belt drive , on the way here .
I search the sky, where I was born.
since my tender youth. from me .

The Stellarvue M2C mount would be ideal with your 85mm.
I have used larger refractors than a 85mm with mine and have had no issues with its use over the time I have owned it.

AOKswiss is 'better' but also much more expensive.

@messier 111
Which tripod exactly do you have?
I went look at the specs on their page and they are all called Mach 3: https://benrousa.com/mach3/
