Lift off!
Some images of the last 2 days of the sun. There was a huge filament coming over the solar limb that made a lift-off in the late afternoon of August 4th. It was cloudy here, but just before the sun was setting behind the house the clouds cleared and I was able to capture the prom just when it was lifting off. Feeling lucky to have caught this. Just look at the scale of this thing! One of of the biggest I have seen until now.
