New "Style" to play with.

I have added a new "style" you can try out.

It's called "Dark Vision". For those of us who are older, it might help a bit.

I'm considering making it the forum default.......

Now don't panic!!! None of our current styles are going away, and as always, you have a choice which style you want to use.

All you have to do is click on the "Board Style" on the left side of the portal page and select the one you like.

Take a look and vote if you like it or not....

Hi Gordon,

The new style is definitely “in your face”, but it’s really snappy and easy to read (especially for older eyes).

Much easier to read on my phone too!

"The day-glow orange text will take some getting used to. The only problem that I see with it is that maneuvering to the subforms on the portal or the index page is quite problematic on a smartphone. They're all bunched together very tightly and it's hard for older index fingers, like mine, to hit the selection I'm aiming for."

Hmm, it won't work on my older Android phone.

It will set, but when I refresh the page it reverts back to the green. Works fine on the Android tablet though.

It makes me appreciate "Simplicity Light Blue" all the more A bit "in your face" for my taste (I know this sounds funny from a guy who loves pushing out every last bit of his AP images).

It doesn't look bad, I just don't like a black background. So prosilver it remains for me. But the option might work for others.

I voted #2 It's ok.
My favorite is still the Prosilver (Dark edition). Works well on my cell phone too.

Switching to this new style I can turn the brightness down on my screen now.
Everything stands out quite clearly.

The colours are not to my liking, so I will stick with the Prosilver Dark Edition.

It is easier to read than other light-on-dark schemes. I still prefer dark-on-light, myself, but that one is not bad.

I just noticed that they is no indicator for PMs that are read or not, all of the colours stay the same.

There’s a number next either the bell or inbox at the top of the page.
