NGC 1532 (PGC 14638, ESO 359-27 and others) is a large, edge-on spiral galaxy located approximately 65 million light-years away in Eridanus. Interaction with dwarf galaxy NGC 1531 (PGC 14635, ESO 359-26 and others) above it is causing the distorted shape.

ESO 359-29 (PGC 14664 and others) is the interesting galaxy at below and to the left of NGC 1532.

Luminance – 14x600s – 140 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 12:14:16x600s – 120:140:160 minutes each – binned 1x1

560 minutes total exposure – 9 hours 20 minutes

Imaged over 15 nights in September, October, November and December, 2021 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.

This data is from Telescope Live (https://telescope.live/) “One-click Observations.”
