Ashen Light
Below is an article in BBC Sky about Ashen Light, the glow on the dark side of Venus that some visual observers have reported since 1643. It is noted in the article that many are skeptical because no one has captured the glow with a camera at the same time as visually seeing it. However, anyone that has tried to photograph Venus knows that the illuminated side of Venus, even a very thin crescent, is insanely bright. Trying to get an exposure level that can resolve the Ashen Light and not have the illuminated part blow out the image seems to be a daunting task. Luckily, the Parker Solar Probe was able to photograph the dark side so there must be some light. The article says much more and has given us a challenge. “What we really need is a visual observation of the Ashen Light and an image of the phenomenon taken at the same time.”

I wonder if anyone here has seen and/or tried to photograph the Ashen Light?
