suggested some connections to me. This resulted in my changing my thinking about the ER = EPR slogan. Initially I was highly skeptical, but I am now persuaded that there might be more to it all. There followed a series of intuitions about other things that might be packaged together and I soon found myself with an ensemble of notions that might also be clues to facets of quantum gravity.

So I decided to push that as far as I could.
Here is a laundry list of things that I think are like the reports of the blind men on their elephant experience. I’ll divide the views into sections. The first section of the list consists of items that are more or less “mainstream” and the second section consists of personal idiosyncrasies. After the list is a narrative that links the items.A king has the blind men of the capital brought to the palace, where an elephant is brought in and they are asked to describe it.
When the blind men had each felt a part of the elephant, the king went to each of them and said to each: "Well, blind man, have you seen the elephant? Tell me, what sort of thing is an elephant?"
The men assert the elephant is either like a pot (the blind man who felt the elephant's head), a winnowing basket (ear), a plowshare (tusk), a plow (trunk), a granary (body), a pillar (foot), a mortar(back), a pestle (tail) or a brush (tip of the tail).
The men cannot agree with one another and come to blows over the question of what it is like and their dispute delights the king.
1) String theory and quantum loop gravity are in some sense duals of each other

5) AdS/CFT correspondence, rather than merely criticizabie as not the space in which we live, might admit novel topologies for the universe accommodating ER + EPR ideas more naturally than the space of the standard cosmology

9) ECSK gravity might be a better choice than GR since there may be nore topological freedom with a metric that is less symmetric and less constrained.
10) Wheeler’s “It from bit” is as close to reality as can be achieved, Reality Itself is unknowable. We need only work at finding real laws governing phenomena. The Real Laws of the universe are not necessarily knowable.
11) Wheeler’s “one electron universe” may be compatible with the above

I'll add a post containing a narrative of how these might hang together in a later post here.
