Gaia probe reveals stellar DNA and unexpected ‘starquakes’
From TheGuardian.com:
"Astronomers have unveiled the most detailed survey of the Milky Way, revealing thousands of “starquakes” and stellar DNA, and helping to identify the most habitable corners of our home galaxy.

Re: Gaia probe reveals stellar DNA and unexpected ‘starquakes’
Hello Stephen. A nice pair of links to the Gaia probe mission. I watched a great PBS NOVA TV broadcast (Universe Revealed) on TV last night featuring the new information provided by Gaia images and analysis especially including our Milky Way Galaxy which was fascinating. Thanks for your report and links Stephen and keep up the great work.

Re: Gaia probe reveals stellar DNA and unexpected ‘starquakes’
Gaia has been doing this for 9 years, and boy is it sending back a ton of data. Thanx for the link.
I’ve learned a lot since I knew it all.
