Hi Rick. It's great to have you join us here on TSS. And you have come to the right place to ask your astronomy and telescope questions and receive great answers from the friendly and knowledgeable folks on here. Possibly many of the TSS members may have or had telescopes like the type for which you are seeking information. Welcome to the forum Rick and the best of wishes on your astronomy hobby endeavors.

I believe my uncle gave me one of those scopes (60mm) back in the 1970's when it was 20 years old. I hope folks with a bit more expertise will chime in.

Hello and welcome to TSS! Probably the best place to get info on classic telescopes is Cloudy Nights/Classic Telescopes forum: https://www.cloudynights.com/forum/62-c ... elescopes/.

I have a website dedicated to Nihon Seiko/Unitron Telescopes of that era (see my signature).
