Messier 70 submission (previous logs)

#1

Post by omeek »

I just realized that I never ended up submitting my observations for the messier awards here. Attached is the first 70 messier objects I had observed. I think I am only up to 81 or so now so still a ways to go. :)

Looking back on my old observation notes makes me remember how terribly short and unimaginative my descriptions were. I think my current observation descriptions are better these days though.

Thank you!! Yes, my main log file has those things listed, I just didn't have it in my compiled Messier list. Although, I don't think I listed those things for the first 15 or so M's originally. I've been keeping track of those details ever since. I like looking back on observations and seeing what equipment I used and then compare those view descriptions to current observations. It really lets you know which sessions gave the best seeing and darkness. :)

Thank you all! Even though I tend to come and go on this site due to work, life, etc.. I appreciate having a great group of people to share my astronomical journey with. None of my real life friends are into astronomy but they still allow me to nerd out to them on occasion.
