"Natural" night sky photo?

Can anyone give me any hints, how to get a photo of my night sky such that it looks similar to what I see with naked eyes?
Some adjustments with a photo editor are probably needed, but roughly...

The point is not getting a good picture, but realistic picture.

The camera is Canon PowerShot A590, No telescope, bare camera. The idea is to document the circumstances.
The colour and brightness of the sky and surroundings.

Have you tried it?

Long ago I took some 15 second shots with my SX40 at 800 ISO in JPEG at F/2.7, looks pretty realistic. Don't look too close but good enough for what you need, I think.

Getting accurate colour reproduction of a transmitting light source like sky is not easy. Photographers place an IT8 colour calibration target in the bottom corner of the field of the lens in the same light that’s illuminating the subject. When photographing the light source, there’s no easy way to colour calibrate such an image.
