My Mini Observatory

#1

Post by Ken_nneth »

Several people have shown interest in my little mini observatory, so I’ll post some more pictures. I had no drawings or instructions, it’s all just constructed out of what I had on hand. The framework is 2x2 and the covering is 4mm plywood. It is hinged at the back with door hinges so the roof can be removed by sliding it a little to the side. The construction is not heavy so I can open it easily. The size is about 1200x1200mm on the sides, the height of the bottom is about 1000mm and the top about the same. I have placed a floor about 400mm below the edge of the bottom section where I can place all my equipment. I wish I had more info for you guys but hope it helps.
