Discussion of his methods and interesting that they entertained the notion that there "is the great probability, not to ſay abſolute certainty, of the moon's being inhabited"
For those not familiar with old documents, the "ſ" as in Aſtronomical is a long s. Not quite sure of the rules surrounding its use. Does seem to vary from document to document but that is half the fun of reading these.
