Hello from Johannesburg
Hello and Good Morning to everyone. I am a retired British firefighter living the last ten years in South Africa with my locally born wife.My passion is landscape photography but I have a had a life long interest in astronomy since watching the Apollo flights live on tv. In the past I belonged to the Liverpool astronomical society and went with them to see to solar eclipses to Java in 1983 and Hawaii in 1991.Living in the city negates any astronomical viewing so I have taken a subscription out with Telescope Live and regularly download and process deep sky images.
