New Scope Arrived
Our scope finally arrived, an Orion 150mm Mak-Cass . Forecast shows clouds for the next 9 days, so the new scope curse is holding pretty well. Wish me patience, I’ll need it.
I’ve learned a lot since I knew it all.

Re: New Scope Arrived
Weather forecasts are not always 100% correct, so maybe you will catch an early break in those clouds.
A hopeful way to look at it, and you may get a pleasant surprise

Congrats! I wonder if someone here has stolen the attention of the cloud gods. At least look like that here.

Re: New Scope Arrived
It was a package with the Orion StarSeeker IV, an altazimuth go to. Specs don’t leave too much room weight wise, but we had already planned on getting an equatorial when we can swing it. Hoping this will do for now.
I’ve learned a lot since I knew it all.

Congratulations on the new scope. It looks like a planet catcher. Even if it is cloudy you may be able to get some new lunar views as it starts its cycle again.
