Woke up about 30 minutes before twilight started, so I grabbed my 80mm on my AZ5 / Benro pod and stepped out.
Quick scan through Cyg over to Albireo. Yup, still blue and yellow.
Spent some time studying OC Stock 1 just "below" Albireo. The cluster is diffuse and can be a little difficult to recognize as a cluster. But I did a lot of back and forth between my EP and SkySafari and I was able to definitely identify it. I set up a SLOOH run to get a widefield pic. We'll see how that compares to the EP view.
Slewed over to the Coathangar which I use as my guidepost to get to my old buddy U Sge. Haven't checked the lightcurve, but it still looks pretty close to maximum.
Took my scope in, grabbed my 10x50s and walked around the house to have a look at the Jupiter-Venus-Mars-Saturn lineup. Unfortunately Jupiter was too low / obstructed by houses, but the rest of the lineup was nice.

Hi Olen. A short but sweet observing report from you. A short session is always better than a no session. And you did grab a few of your favorite targets. Thanks for your nice report Olen and keep looking up.

One thing that was quite obvious is the movements on the AZ5 feel like sludge compared to my ScopeTech Zero. But the ST0 did cost about 25% more than the AZ5.
OTOH, now I'm kinda thinking about getting another ST0 - keep one on my Frotto 475B and put one on my Benro for an even lighter rig. Meh, then I'd probably start thinking about a carbon fiber pod to replace the Benro...
