Finally ordered a Baader Ortho

#1

Post by omeek »

After hearing so many great things about the Baader Orthoscopic EP last year from some of you I added it to my wishlist and finally ordered it today. Now I play the waiting game. :?

Where I live they brag about 300 days/nights of clear skies per year. How much you wanna bet that at least 7 of those cloudy days will happen as soon as I get my EP? :Boo:

Oh, I guess I forgot that part! haha I ordered the 6mm :)

I think it pretty much completes my set. I have been super happy with my EP's but have really been wanting a good one for planetary stuff.

The tight eye relief takes time to get used to, otherwise it is a great performer.

Yeah, I've been using just long eye relief EP's for so long that it will take a bit to get used to again. haha

Woohoo! EP arrived today. It surprised me how fast it arrived being out in the middle of the desert and all. haha

And of course it looks like there will be some scattered high clouds tonight. Hopefully later this week I'll get to try it out.
