After reading the article I just kept wondering how he thought that they would be able to capture any fragments over a wide ares or the ocean floor.
However if they did,would this be the first material from another solar system, was t sure from reading it though ?

I don't see recovering fragments as a realistic possibility but it would be a first if they could.
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.
