Hi all. A nice sunny morning here and I caught two shots of the SpaceX Falcon 9 Axiom-1 launch this morning from my backyard. As the trajectory was quite vertical, it had a short duration of opportunity before it disappeared and I could only get the two shots.
Here are the details:
At 11:17 am EDST at the Kennedy Space Center, a Falcon 9 rocket launched a Crew Dragon capsule with four private passengers on a roughly two-week mission to the International Space Station. It will mark the first all-private flight to visit the ISS. Crew Dragon should arrive at the ISS at 6:45 a.m. ET Saturday, April 9. The rocket's first stage will target a drone ship landing in the Atlantic Ocean.
