Celesron CGX / CGX-L Celestron or Synta?

#1

Post by UlteriorModem »

Quick question.

Im having a heluva time getting my new configuration working and literally grasping at straws here.

I installed the ASCOM Celestron 'universal' driver for my CGX-L and it works sorta but been having alot of issues.

On celestron's site it says something about
This driver does NOT support Synta mounts. Use the Sky-Watcher drivers listed below.
So which is it? Celestron or Synta?

Is your mount a Celestron mount or a Skywatcher mount? Since it is a Celestron you go with the Celestron driver. Celestron tells both types of mounts so it has to address both of those drivers.
