Hi Dave. Sorry to come in late as I almost missed this thread. A big congratulations on the new Starfield 102mm f/7 ED Doublet Refractor. And it looks like a real gem from the photos that you took. Thanks for the new equipment report Dave and looking forward to your first light report with this fine instrument.

I've only had an opportunity to get it out the once so far... first light report was last Monday! :) Well impressed with the performance of it for DSOs & was hoping to get a glimpse of the Moon but the clouds have been in the way so far...
SW Flextube 12" Dobsonian.
Starfield ED102 f/7; SW ED80; SW 120ST
EQ5 and AZ4 mounts
Eyepieces: TV Delos 17.3 & 10; Pentax XW 7 & 5; BCO 32,18,10; Fuyiyama Ortho 12.5; Vixen SLV 25.

Thanks John! I can see this getting lots of use. Relatively quick cool-down and at f/7 makes is very versatile.
