My New Mount

#1

Post by LDW47 »

I bought this mount for my small scopes to replace the ball head. It is a lot more sturdy with excellent alt / az movements. I will keep increasing the scope size to see its useful capacity. When sky conditions co-operate that is, its been cloudy or too cold for the last couple or three months, lol.

Its a Starwave Mini-AZ mount by Altar Astro, replaces a ball head and comes with a 1kg counter weight. They also have an L Bracket accessory for mounting either a camera or spotting scope for $43 C. Sorry I ddn't post all of that initially.

Also sold previously as the SV M1C. But the M1C was sold naked - no CW, etc.
