Hi All,

I've been a telescope nerd since high school (approximately 4 decades ago!). I recently resurrected my
Meade ETX90EC and am looking for ways to do some astrophotography with it. Mostly of solar system
objects, since my site (Los Angeles) is not very dark. This website looks like it has a lot of like-minded
people and I look forward to getting to know everyone and, eventually, posting some results here.

Thanks to the maintainers for setting all this up!

Thanks everyone for the welcoming!

Pasadena has great weather, but a whole lot of light pollution. Double stars,
clusters, and solar system objects are what I'll focus on from home. Luckily, there are
places nearby that have great skies: Joshua Tree and I'll be going to Idyllwild
in late March for a few nights.
