Dew heater temperature?
Just wondering what temperature range one should be looking at for dew heaters. These numbers seem high to me. I may look to making my own.
Thanks

Re: Dew heater temperature?
I usually do not have to run them above 40-50% to keep my 150mm clear, though I do not know what temperature that would be.
I use Kendrick dewheaters and either a Kendrick Mark IV 2 channel controller or a 1000 Oaks 4 channel controller.

Re: Dew heater temperature?
As a start try to adjust it so it is just above the dew point. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dew_pointLady Fraktor wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 6:26 am That is a bit high, does it have a controller with it?

I just administer a battery operated hair drier as needed.

Re: Dew heater temperature?
Dew was not an issue before but it does get wet hereabouts and so very cloudy. Makes one almost miss those clear dry -30 nights.
