PM 1-320 - Planetary Nebula in Cygnus

#1

Post by bernhardhubl »

Hello,

Today I would like to introduce you to the small planetary nebula PM 1-320. This PN with a primary size of 60" shows extended structures in [OIII]. There is some Halpha emission in the background, which is not unusual for many areas of the constellation Cygnus. The wide-field image shows that PM 1-320 is in the vicinity of the well-known Propeller Nebula.

39hrs and 28mins  The amount of TOT really shows up with the depth of background nebulosity and the fact that you've captured that super faint extended planetary nebulosity. I highly recommend looking at the fully magnified images to get the full deal. That's one hell of an image!

Nice coverage Bernhard. It's nice to see the WFOV image to put everything into perspective. The image with the Newtonian gives a nice closeup view. Nice job on the processing to make it stand out. Very enjoyable set of images.

Hi Bernhard. A dazzling image of the planetary nebula PM1-320. I especially enjoyed the cropped version and the many details. Thanks for taking the time to put this up on here for us to enjoy Bernhard and keep up this great work.
