Iris Nebula - reprocess in PI

#1

Post by starfield »

Jon.s inspired me to revisit some data on the Iris Nebula I grabbed out from a borttle 2 site last fall. Decide to try processing the image again using some of my new PI skills and was really pleased with the results. It's still a bit noisy, but when you consider it was only 2 hours worth of data and a bit smokey, I am really blown away. Time for a dark sky trip this fall!

This is shot with my 294mc OSC, 240 sec, 30 frames. Processed in PI and used EZ suite for Denoise, HDR. Final finish in Photoshop. The EZ suite definitely provides me nice set of training wheels as a PI newbie.
