Solar eclipse June 10th

#1

Post by Pikaia »

It went from thick cloud to clear sky in a few minutes, but I was able to capture the eclipse just before maximum when the cloud was just enough to allow me to capture it with my DSLR.
F38, 1/8000sec, ISO 100. 500mm.

Nice one Pikaia!

I managed a visual through my old S@N eclipse glasses. The Android eclipse glasses combo wasn't able to focus!

Regards

Graeme

Hi Pikaia. I am too far south and had clouded out skies to catch the event this year. You did a great job, and now have something to show to your family and friends. Thanks for sharing this image with us on here Pikaia, and the best of wishes for many clear skies.
