Six squares of roofing lead cut from a roll.

Held onto the end of the cantilever arm with the safety bolt!

Don't forget, you always have the option to get boom microphone stand counterweights. Because they are not "Astro" gear, they are a lot less expensive. And they work just as well on an EQ mount, I know because I own both of these. Here they are: https://www.adorama.com/ostcw3.html?gcl ... yYQAvD_BwE
and this one too: https://www.adorama.com/ostcw6.html?ori ... irect=true

Cheers,
JT

That's a good option. The 6lb one would have done the trick. I used 2.5kg from a 7kg roll for £27.00.

At least I've got some lead left over for fishing weights for when the new communication constellations are all operational and we all have find a new hobby.

Regards

Graeme
