Re: Carrying means for CEM120?
Well, birch instead of pine would raise the plywood weight to 6 kg alone. And fiberglass is not that light either. It gets easily > 10 kg, and takes a lot of time (that I don't have that much). As such it shouldn't be too hard: resin, fiber, more resin, ...Lady Fraktor wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 4:59 pm Most premium wooden telescope cases are made of 8mm Birch ply. It is more than thick and strong enough.

Of course, the fiber sheets should be cut well in the form to get then in place neatly.
Quick calculation showed that the total area (the amount of plywood) would be about 1.2 square meters.

Only 336€.
Internal Dimensions 620 x 460 x 340 mm
External Dimensions 687 x 528 x 376 mm
I have to make the "foam" myself, but I think that's easy.
Let's see how it goes...

From the outside. From the inside. No other obstacles, but the wheel arcs - 4 cm high (up the wall), 2 cm deep (inward).

Re: Carrying means for CEM120?
The case just adds about 10 kg (22 lb) to the weight to carry, totalling to about 37 kg (81 lb).
