Are These Two Eyepieces The Same?
Orion is out of stock. Thinking about the 5mm and the 6mm StellLyra. My worries is that the StellLyra is $20 less and that is with the cost of shipping added.

Re: Are these Two Eyepieces The Same?
I am not sure why saving money would be a worry but yes they are the same eyepiece.
Just look at the specifications listed of the two and you can see they are identical in all aspects.

Re: Are These Two Eyepieces The Same?
Yes, these are the same EPs from Long Perng Optics. They are/were rebranded by many vendors. Orion version is just grossly overpriced. You need to watch out Orion for this they have a history of overpricing rebranded items. Orion Expanse line is another example.Refractordude wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 4:08 am Orion is out of stock. Re: Are These Two Eyepieces The Same?
BTW Celestron X-Cel LX, Meade HD60, Dual ED are better options than LER. I realize that most of them are out of stock. If you want something right now and don't mind buying from China. TMB II is cheaper and better option than LER.

Actually, if you don't mind 4.5mm instead of 5mm, BST UWA is still in stock from Agena
